COUNTRY PATCHES 2018 SCHOLARSHIP AWARDED TO JUSTICE RENNER
Justice Renner, graduating senior at Longview High School., has been selected to receive the Country Patches Quilt Guild scholarship for 2018. Justice has been involved at LHS for several years in theater, yearbook staff, tennis team, a cheerleader, member of the Student Council, the National Honor Society and Z-Club. She volunteers with the Gregg County Health Department and the Spring Hill State Bank Student Board.
When she was a child, Justice learned sewing from her grandmother, and it has become a passion for her in creating outfits and studying fashion design. She and her sisters love designing and tie-dying t-shirts. After studying business at either Baylor University or the University of North Texas, Justice plans to create a line of clothing for people who are disadvantaged. She loves to volunteer and give back to her community.
Thank you for awarding me The Country Patches Quilt Guild Scholarship! I am overjoyed you selected me out of the applicants who entered. I am eager to attend the Country Patches meeting on the 19th. Thank you again & I look forward to meeting you as well!
